My artisan jewelry business is growing at a healthy rate, and as such there is only so much time in the day, between hand crafting new items, packing up orders, shipping them out, blogging, putting new items on the website, etc. etc.

So, I’ve come to a rather important crossroads with my businesses ~ I no longer have time to manage other people’s businesses online as I’ve been doing for 7 years as a website designer and SEO service provider, so in all fairness to them as well as to myself, I’ve closed my design business except for hourly as needed consulting and providing tools for do-it-yourself website owners. You can read all about this transition here.

Also, my venture out in textile art land is paying off as far as getting me into juried arts and crafts shows locally for more exposure of both the textile art and the coordinating jewelry pieces that go with the evening bags, purses, and hats and scarves. In time this will pay off on my website as well in sales, but for the time being, my jewelry sales have begun to seriously rise, which is a good thing.

That having been said, I must, for the health of my business, cut back in certain areas! Webdesign was one. Extra blogging is another. I simply do not have the time to maintain several blogs of which I had been. My Crochet and Cross Stitch blog will no longer be posted in, but I’ll allow it to remain up for a while.

I transferred all posts and most pages over here to this blog, however the individual cross stitch pages which are e-commerce enabled here have to be transferred over one at a time, which I will get around to doing, hence my reasoning for leaving the crochet blog up for the time being.

There is simply too much to do when effectively running your own business to fragment yourself with much else. It’s not fair to anyone, to one’s clients, or to oneself. Hence my closing of my webdesign business. It’s also not fair to my shoppers at Jewelry Collectibles, who are my number 1 priority ~ hence my desire and need to stop the fragmentation of efforts.

An exquisitely hand linked sterling silver chain starts this necklace off. Attached to this is a stunning array of beads ~ triangle faceted clear crystal Czech glass cathedral beads with sterling silver bead caps, olivine Czech glass beads in two sizes, sterling silver flower spacers, fancy Czech glass bicone beads in green Picasso and peridot, Celestial Crystal™ aurora borealis cube beads in peridot and olivine, with a lovely six dangle pendant comprised of all shades, shapes and sizes of all green beads used in the necklace.
