Host a Jewelry Party, Earn Free Jewelry!

September 26th, 2007

Want to earn free jewelry with minimum work? Wouldn’t everyone!

Well, it’s fairly easy. All you need to do is organize a jewelry party, whether it be at home, in your workplace, or online. How do you do that?

At home ~ very simple. Get your family, friends and neighbors to come over on a scheduled evening, serve snacks and beverages. With busy schedules it might be a little hard to coordinate, but mention the words “at home shopping”…… that usually does the trick.

At the office ~ get the appropriate permission  from your office supervisor or whomever is necessary to grant permission for an after-hours or lunchtime jewelry party. Post the party on the bulletin board in the cafeteria or lunch room, and tell everyone besides!

Online ~ similar to the at home party ~ tell everyone they have like a week to shop, they need to use your hostess code, and give them the website address.

Oh, and you should coordinate the party with us here at Jewelry Collectibles. We have an excellent hostess reward program for hostesses who arrange a jewelry party with us.

Here’s the basic details, and you can find out about the rewards program by clicking on the rewards link.

Home Jewelry Party

Have a “Girls Night” and invite your friends, family, and whomever else you want over for a fun night of shopping our selection of one of a kind unique designer jewelry fashions created by Maureen McCullough, owner of Jewelry Collectibles. You’ll need to be located in or around Bergen County, Passaic, Morris, Warren or Sussex County in New Jersey to schedule a home jewelry party with us.

After-Hours or Lunchtime Office Jewelry Party

Schedule an after working hours or a lunchtime office jewelry party at your place of business (please be sure to get the necessary permission first) and have fun with your office buddies while shopping our selection of one of a kind unique designer jewelry fashions created by Maureen McCullough, owner of Jewelry Collectibles. You’ll need to be located in or around Bergen County, Passaic, Morris, Warren or Sussex County in New Jersey to schedule a home jewelry party with us.

Online Jewelry Party

Works basically the same as the home jewelry party but you invite your friends, family, and whomever else you want for the length of time you choose for your online party ~ a designated day online or you can choose to give them up to one week online to shop our selection of one of a kind unique designer jewelry fashions created by Maureen McCullough, owner of Jewelry Collectibles.

Orders are tracked by your unique hostess code, which will be given to you when you sign up with us for an online party, and which you will forward to each of your guests when you start your party, so their sales can be identified for your hostess account. Online parties also include our handmade baby gifts, women’s accessories, wedding jewelry and counted cross stitch kits. All sales from any one or combination of the above count towards your hostess rewards.

You will need to be located anywhere within the United States to schedule an online jewelry party with us.

New Designer Couture Fashion Hats Added

September 25th, 2007

I’m slowly adding a new line of designer couture fashion hats to Jewelry Collectibles. My goal is to have the hats coordinate with the shawls, wraps or ponchos, add a scarf, and maybe a handcrafted handbag from my new line of handbags and you have a complete, coordinating set of fashion accessories and outer wear!

Not a bad idea, eh?

All of these fashion accessories and outer wear can be custom ordered in the colors and yarn blends of your choice ~ they are NOT just available in those items shown on the webpages……. I wanted to make it as easy as pie for you to custom order something that is yours and yours alone! Something that you will never see other women wearing, something that is as individual as you are.

Here’s some pictures of the two fashion hat styles I have done so far:

The fashion hat shown above is our slouch style hat. You can find out more about this hat here ~ it’s really beautiful and what a perfect fashion accessory!

And the next:

This fashion hat features a nice brim that can be turned any which way you like. Slanted on one side, rolled all around, the choice is up to you. Again, this can be ordered in any color you choose, and is perfect for late fall and winter weddings or other special occasions.

Actually any of my fashion hats are perfect for anytime you like. Pair them up with one of my shawls, ponchos or wraps or your favorite jacket for a classy casual look, or team them up with finer accessories and outer wear for a more formal occasion.

Arts and Crafts Show Photos from September 22, 2007

September 25th, 2007

Here are my photos from my arts and crafts show on September 22. I was indoors, in an approximate 8 x 10 space, and utilized the walk-in style of arrangement. I was seated in the left hand corner (as you faced my booth) where I worked on crocheting while I was there and was readily accessible to answer questions and demonstrate my items as soon as people walked into my booth. I brought three tables, each with a different product line, and two chrome racks from which to hang my shawls, wraps and ponchos, plus display some additional hats and scarves.

Unfortunately the show had too few buyers and low attendance. Depending on how they improve for next year, I may or may not attend again. Very nice people, well organized, nice diversity of arts and crafts. Very easy setup. On these points I was extremely pleased, however, poor attendance & poor buying were not what I expected from this upscale North Jersey neighborhood. I think their advertising needs to be more aggressive and expanded.
