Beaded Chandelier Dangle Earrings at Jewelry Collectibles
April 16th, 2008Did you know that Jewelry Collectibles is one of just a very few artisan jewelry designers on the East Coast who makes beaded chandelier earrings? Everyone who is local and stops by my studio is always telling me they have been looking for these earrings and can never find them!
We don’t use the pre-formed metal frames with scrollwork and loops that have become so popular with jewelry makers ~ never did and never will. These pre-formed metal frames allow jewelry makers to simply and very easily create dangle earrings by simple stringing beads onto wire headpins and attaching these to the loops on the metal frames.
Our beaded chandelier dangle earrings are completely hand crafted and beaded from a few hundred tiny, glittery Czech glass silver lined and other types of seed beads, sometimes tiny gemstones, sometimes pearls on the ends. We create them by the old brick stitched beading technique, and our beaded chandelier earrings are popular with more dressy occasions ~ I’ve had clients purchase them for their anniversary dinner to go with a beaded shawl or purse, for weddings and proms, for Native American powwows and other events of cultural significance, and for genuine, traditional southwestern wear.
