Jewelry Collectibles Baby Boutique Open

October 15th, 2007

I had a spurt of energy and a fit of imagination for the past several weeks that has finally materialized. I always have carried crocheted baby clothing and cross stitched bibs on my website, but the whole setup quite frankly looked very lackluster.

So what I did was re-took all the pictures, even though most of my hat and bootie sets have sold at local shows, but no matter, I’ll make more! Anywho, I re-took all pictures, and re-designed the whole thing so that there is a baby boutique index, with the 3 product lines I currently carry, which morph out into sections for each product line and into an individual page for each item, just like on the rest of my website.

The new pictures look SO much better, and it’s given me quite a few ideas for future expansion of my baby product lines. Yes, my brain works on overtime.

Here’s an example of some items I currently have in stock:

Baby bibs cross stitched from vintage, out of print patterns, so very cutesy. ALL bibs are customizable with a message or the child’s name or whatever above the image.

Frog Meets Ladybug

Baby Hat and Bootie Sets, crocheted from my original patterns:

Beautiful peach…….. and they come in many more colors, although right now most are sold out.

Lovely baby blankets, very delicate looking, warm, and soft:

If you are interested, find out more about my Baby Boutique items here. Any and all items can be custom ordered in whatever color you want for your little darling! Purchases of sets are discounted nicely ~ bib, blanket and hat/booties.

Arts and Crafts Show Photos from September 22, 2007

September 25th, 2007

Here are my photos from my arts and crafts show on September 22. I was indoors, in an approximate 8 x 10 space, and utilized the walk-in style of arrangement. I was seated in the left hand corner (as you faced my booth) where I worked on crocheting while I was there and was readily accessible to answer questions and demonstrate my items as soon as people walked into my booth. I brought three tables, each with a different product line, and two chrome racks from which to hang my shawls, wraps and ponchos, plus display some additional hats and scarves.

Unfortunately the show had too few buyers and low attendance. Depending on how they improve for next year, I may or may not attend again. Very nice people, well organized, nice diversity of arts and crafts. Very easy setup. On these points I was extremely pleased, however, poor attendance & poor buying were not what I expected from this upscale North Jersey neighborhood. I think their advertising needs to be more aggressive and expanded.
